Cloud Ships

Sailing the open sky,

cloud ships

in summer winds,

high above the deep

green of a northern forest

leaning into

pristine waters

shimmering

with jewels

of sunlight.

Cloud ships

shape shifting

to the will of the wind,

coalescing into

forms of the

fanciful familiar

through the

open window

of imagination.
